Preggie at 27 weeks
I have a checkup this Saturday with my ever informative gynae, Dr Delaila @ SJMC. I’m close to my 7th month mark and I wonder how my baby has been progressing for the past month. As usual, mommy has been eating alot and not getting enough exercise ;). But I think chasing after a 2 year old is good enough, no? 
Amirul is very the manja as of late and I am loving every moment of it. Who knows I might not be able to shower him the extra TLC once his adik is born. But insya’allah, I will love and care for my kids equally :). He has even showed fondness for his adik through mommy’s tummy, of course. He would stroke my tummy and say ’sayang’ whenever he sits or lies down beside me. Both me and hubs have even ‘told’ him his adik’s name so that he can ‘practice’ saying it before baby arrives.
Overall, this pregnancy has been smooth. Just like when I was conceiving Amirul. No morning sickness whatsoever. Just the occasional ‘payau’ after taste in the 1st trimester. Backaches, yes (more prone to right side) tho not too bad. The thing I like most on being preggie is when the baby kicks and somersaults in my tummy (I know lotsa mommies will vouch for that!). It definitely puts a smile on my face everytime is happens :).
I’ve got another 3 months to go. EDD would be after Raya but who knows, baby might arrive early, just like the brother. I really hope I have the energy to fast during the whole of fasting month as I don’t want to have to ‘ganti’ my dues later.
For those of you wondering whether it would be a girl or a boy… keep on guessing 
Tee hee.. I have not been able to confirm on it myself but I sure will this coming Saturday tho the signs have been very clear

Hi Ida..check up dgn dr. delaila?glamer gak dr nih ek sbb my ex ofismate pon slalu mention nama dr nih..hmm..kalu 2nd pregnancy sama mcm yg 1st dulu, I guess, another boy..;)..hihih..just guessing..Hopefully he will be a gud abg Long..so far for may son, still no sign of ‘being the Abg Long’..always seeking a chance to ‘gigit’ or ‘puk’ his adik..kalu blk keje, he will ask me to dukung him while his adik crying and hope me to dukung her..sian kan..talking abt kids, will be a neverending story..;)

Gjie…She’s nice and banyak betul info yg dia bagi everytime masa checkup. Kira puas hati. But my first with Amirul, I gi kat Dr Maziah @ DSH. Dia pun ok only this time, I had to go for checkups kat SJMC pulak.
Mmm.. kalau dpt another boy, alamat havoc lah umah I. But hopefully he’d be a very good bro nanti. I rasa mesti I akan experience mcm u jugak once that baby is born. Mesti nak attention kita all the time :).
