It’s our 2nd anniversary today. alhamdulillah we made it this far. Tho the journey was not a bed of roses, I am grateful to have a loving husband and a handsome young boy. Lucky for us, Amirul made his first 8-9 baby steps infront of us (tho he has made a few attempts before landing hard on his bum a few weeks back). It was indeed a wonderful anniversary present!
Amirul is kinda of a late bloomer. Started crawling only when he was 9 months old (when his peers were practically cruising). People say it’s normal since he is a boy (apparently, girls develop faster). As for me, I’ll let him ‘bloom’ whenever he is ready. I mean, we’re not competing in the Olympics! As long as my hubby and myself get to witness his ‘firsts’ of everything, that is good enough. Besides, we have it all recorded 
!
By the way, had a great dinner just now. Amirul was a handful but we managed. Insyaallah, moga panjang umur and wishing for more anniversaries with my loved ones..

Hello! Hope that you and Amirul have a really good time together, always. I support yr statement that we as a mother should give our son to develop their own way of thinking and support them from behind. It’s not a competition anyway,there’s no winner or loser at the end of the day and that you are absolutely right!!! Comparing of one’s child vs another child can do or cannot do ‘thing’ is absolutely a wrong attitude that one shld not nurture from the start. I adore yr decision to be able to take care of yr own child as it gives you a sense of confidence and pride to be able to understand your own child as we are totally different from each other. Wish that i can stop working and being a full-time mum……Wondering when the time will come??????????? Take care you two!
